These 25,000 commercial businesses turnover between $5 million and $100 million per annum – or the 'ME' of SME (Small to Medium Enterprises), as businesses are classified in Australia.

Today, Westpac Commercial Banking has 1,250 staff working from 40 local Commercial Business Centres across Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. 'Westpac Local' is the foundation of their strategy, which is about deepening relationships with customers by investing more in branches and commercial banking centres as well as introducing more expertise to their network.

Westpac's Commercial Business Centres house Relationship Managers, Specialist Bankers and Support Staff, providing easy access for their local commercial banking customers.
