More than 100 new jobs have been created in Australia TradeCoast (ATC) in recent months, as a result of Brisbane Marketing’s Investment Attraction division securing two significant new investments within the region.
Volgren, Australia’s largest bus body building company; and Energyworks Groups, a multi-discipline project management and construction contractor, have both chosen ATC as the location for their future business operations.
The new Volgren facility, relocated from Toowong, is valued at $19 million and will create approximately 80 new jobs. Volgren is expected to increase its production capability by an additional 150 per cent as a result of the relocation.
Energyworks will locate its Australian headquarters in ATC, an investment valued at $10 million and will create up to 30 new jobs.
Brisbane Marketing provided critical information and advice to both companies during the location selection process. The agency assisted Volgren during its tender application process by providing advice on land options, electricity and staffing, ensuring its application to relocate from Toowong to ATC was robust and the best quality.
Brisbane Marketing also assisted Energyworks during its three-month investment project by developing a solid business case for the energy giant. The case included property assessments, energy evaluation, specialised staffing costs, as well as critical industry introductions.
Australia TradeCoast welcomes both businesses to the region.
